The short answer

What do local SEO services in Australia include, and what do they cost?

Local SEO services in Australia cover your Google Business Profile, suburb and service pages, consistent listings on Australian directories, a genuine review routine, and tracking of calls and forms. With BtechWaleTech, monthly local SEO starts from US$150/mo. A new site with structured suburb pages starts from US$300. Nobody can guarantee map pack positions, so reports focus on leads.

Why choose us

Three ways Australian service businesses buy local leads

A service-area business can buy leads in more than one way. The real difference shows up in who owns the leads and what happens on the day you stop paying.

Three ways Australian service businesses buy local leads
Question Capital-city SEO agency Pay-per-lead directory BtechWaleTech local SEO
What you pay for A monthly retainer, often with a minimum term Each lead or credit, whether it books or not Monthly work from US$150/mo, itemised
Who owns the result Usually you, but check the contract The platform owns the customer relationship You own the profile, pages and data
Competition per lead None once they call you Several businesses may get the same job None once they call you
When you stop paying Rankings fade slowly Leads stop the same day Rankings fade slowly; nothing is switched off
Face-to-face meetings Available in your city Not applicable Video calls only, no office visits
Reporting Varies from rankings to leads Leads and spend inside the platform Calls, forms and booked jobs by suburb
Review practices Varies; ask what they do Reviews live on the platform Same request to every customer, no rewards
Best for Owners who want a local account manager New businesses needing jobs this week Owners who want leads they keep

A pay-per-lead directory still has a place while organic results build; many owners run both for a few months and cut the directory once calls from Google cover the gap.

Pricing

What local SEO services cost with us

Local SEO services for an Australian service-area business start from US$150/mo a month. The quote grows with the number of suburbs and services you target, how messy your existing listings are, whether you need new suburb pages, and how competitive your trade is in your city. A plumber covering 40 Sydney suburbs needs more pages and citations than a mobile dog groomer in Toowoomba. If your current site cannot carry suburb pages, a structured rebuild starts from US$300. Every line is itemised in about two working days, and billing starts only after you approve the quote in writing.

What are local SEO services, and does an Australian service-area business need them?

Local SEO services are the work that makes a business show up when someone nearby searches for what it does, both in the map pack (the three businesses under the map) and in the ordinary results below. If your customers find you by typing a trade plus a suburb, you need them.

A service-area business is one that travels to the customer: a plumber, locksmith, carpet cleaner, pest controller, mobile vet, removalist or pool technician. Its challenge is different from a café's. It often has no shopfront, works from a home address it would rather keep private, and serves a spread of suburbs that may sit 40 minutes from where the van parks overnight.

That shape changes the strategy. You cannot rely on being physically close to every searcher, so relevance and reputation carry more weight. Your website has to explain which areas you cover in a way that helps a homeowner in Castle Hill or Carindale decide to call, without turning into 200 copy-paste pages that Google treats as spam.

If most of your work comes from repeat commercial contracts or tenders, local SEO matters less. If your phone rings because someone typed "emergency electrician near me" at 9 pm, it probably matters more than any other marketing you do.

Map pack

The map with three listed businesses, driven mainly by your Google Business Profile, reviews and distance.

Local organic

The normal blue-link results, driven by your website pages, links and technical health.

How does Google decide who appears in the local map pack?

Google says local results depend on three things: relevance, distance and prominence. Its Business Profile help centre also states that there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking, which is worth remembering whenever someone offers you a shortcut.

Relevance is how well your profile matches the search. That comes from your primary category, the services you list, your business description and the content of the website the profile links to. A pest controller whose primary category is "Pest control service" and whose site has a page on termite inspections has a better chance for termite searches than one who lists only a generic category.

Distance is how far you are from the searcher, or from the place named in the search. You cannot change it much, which is why a hidden-address business can struggle in suburbs far from its base. Suburb pages on your website help in the organic results where the map pack does not reach.

Prominence is how well-known the business is. Google's help page links it to information across the web, including links, articles, directories and review count and score. Consistent directory listings and a steady flow of genuine reviews are the practical levers here, and they are where most of our monthly local SEO services time goes.

Setting up a Google Business Profile when you hide your address

If customers do not visit you, Google's own guidelines say you should hide your business address and set a service area instead. Many Australian tradies skip this and show a home address, which invites strangers to the front door and can confuse the listing.

Google's guidelines for service-area businesses also say the overall service area should not extend farther than about two hours of driving time from where the business is based, and that a rented mailing address you do not operate from, often called a virtual office, is not eligible for a profile at all. A Gold Coast electrician who wants to appear across Brisbane can include the southern suburbs within that radius, but listing Cairns would breach the guideline and achieve nothing.

When we set up or repair a profile for a service-area client, we work through a fixed order. Categories first, because they drive relevance. Then service areas by suburb or local government area. Then services with short descriptions, opening hours including after-hours if you genuinely answer, and photos of real jobs, vans and staff rather than stock images.

Verification is handled by you, because Google sends codes or video checks to the owner. We guide you through it on a call. Your login stays as the primary owner and we are added as a manager, so removing us later takes one click. The source is Google's guidelines for representing your business.

  • Address hidden, service areas listed by suburb or region
  • Primary category chosen for your main money-making job
  • Every service listed, each with a plain one-line description
  • Real photos from the last few months of jobs
  • Website link tagged so visits show in your analytics

Suburb pages for local SEO in Australia that avoid doorway spam

Suburb pages work when each one helps someone in that suburb decide to hire you, and fail when they are the same page with the suburb name swapped. Google's spam policies describe doorway abuse as pages created to rank for similar queries that lead users to intermediate pages less useful than the final destination, and they list pages for specific regions or cities funnelling to one destination as an example.

So the question for every suburb page is: what is true about this job in this area? For a pest controller, it might be the termite risk around bushland suburbs, a note on older timber homes, and photos from recent treatments nearby. For a plumber, it might be common hot water set-ups in unit blocks versus freestanding homes, or which council handles a particular trade waste approval. For a cleaner, it might be bond cleaning demand near universities.

We build suburb pages from a small dataset you help fill: suburbs covered, jobs done there, typical property types, response times, and any local detail you know. Pages where you have nothing specific to say are merged into a regional page instead. That keeps the page count honest and the content useful.

Structure matters too. We group suburbs under regional hubs, such as the Hills District, the Northern Beaches or the Bayside, link each suburb page to the services offered there, and link back up to the hub. Visitors and search engines can browse the hierarchy rather than landing on a dead end. Our WordPress sites for Australian businesses and custom builds both support this pattern.

Which Australian directories and citations matter for local SEO services?

The citations that matter are the ones customers actually use and the ones data aggregators copy from. For most Australian service businesses that means Yellow Pages, True Local, hipages, Word of Mouth, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, Facebook and the directory of any industry body you belong to.

A citation is any listing of your business name, address or area, and phone number. Their value is consistency. If one directory lists an old mobile number, another shows "Smith Plumbing Pty Ltd" and a third says "Smith's Plumbing & Gas", people and search engines have to guess which is right. We audit the main listings, record every variation in a spreadsheet you keep, and correct them one by one.

hipages and Word of Mouth also act as lead and review platforms, so a complete profile there does double duty. Apple Business Connect controls how you appear in Apple Maps, which many iPhone users open by default. Bing Places feeds Bing search and some AI assistants that draw on Bing's index.

What we avoid: buying hundreds of low-quality directory listings. Google's spam policies name low-quality directory links as an example of link spam, and a pile of junk citations rarely moves rankings. Twenty accurate listings beat two hundred sloppy ones.

  • Same trading name on every listing, matching your profile
  • One main phone number used everywhere
  • Website URL consistent, with https and the same format
  • Service area described the same way across platforms
  • Old listings from previous numbers or addresses closed or updated

How do you get more Google reviews without breaking ACCC rules?

Ask every customer, in the same way, with no reward attached. That single rule keeps you inside both Google's review policy and the ACCC's guidance, and it is the review routine we build into our local SEO services.

The ACCC says reviews should reflect the genuine opinion of the person who experienced the service. Its guidance on online reviews says any incentive must apply whether the review is positive or negative and must be clearly disclosed, and it warns that removing a genuine negative review may mislead consumers. Reviews written by family or staff without disclosing the connection are also a problem. The ACCC's page on online reviews covers the detail, and legal questions belong with your own adviser.

Google is stricter than the ACCC on incentives. Its Maps content policy prohibits offering payment, discounts or free services in exchange for any review, and it prohibits businesses from selectively soliciting positive reviews or discouraging negative ones. That rules out "review gating", where only happy customers are sent the Google link.

In practice we set up a text or email that goes to every completed job, a day after the invoice, with a direct link to your review form and a line thanking them. You or your office manager reply to every review, good or bad, within a few days. A calm, factual reply to a one-star review often does more for trust than ten five-star ones.

Call tracking: measuring local SEO services by jobs, not rankings

Track calls and forms back to the source, then match them to booked jobs. Rankings move daily and differ by street; a booked job is the number that pays the bills.

For most service-area businesses the phone is the main lead channel, so we set up tracking in layers. The website link on your Google Business Profile gets campaign tags, so visits from the profile show separately in your analytics. Click-to-call buttons on the site are tracked as events. Forms record the page and suburb they were submitted from. Where you want to know which call came from where, a call tracking service can swap the number shown on the website by source.

We are careful with numbers on the Business Profile itself. Your main business number should stay consistent across directories, so we keep it as the number people see everywhere and track profile activity through Google's own calls and direction-request figures plus tagged links.

Once a month we put these side by side: profile calls, website calls, forms, and your job list. Even a rough match, done with your office manager in ten minutes, shows which suburbs and services earn their pages. That is also where you decide whether to keep paying for directory leads.

How much do local SEO services cost in Australia?

Quotes for local SEO services in Australia vary widely, from cheap packages to large agency retainers, and the gap mostly reflects scope, overheads and how much custom content is included. With BtechWaleTech, monthly local SEO starts from US$150/mo.

The main cost drivers are easy to list. The number of suburbs and services multiplies page work. A competitive trade in a capital city needs more content and links than a niche service in a regional town. A messy citation history takes longer to clean. Multiple locations each need their own profile work. And if your site is slow or built on a platform that cannot handle structured pages, fixing that comes first.

Ask any provider for an itemised monthly plan: how many pages written, which listings corrected, how reviews are handled, what is reported. Then compare like with like. A cheap plan that only posts two Google updates a month is a different product from one that builds suburb pages and tracks calls.

Monthly local SEO

From US$150/mo: profile management, citations, reviews routine, content and reporting.

Suburb page build

From US$300 for a structured site of 299 or more pages, built once and then maintained.

New small site first

From US$150 for up to 100 pages when your current site cannot carry local pages.

How long does local SEO take to work in Australia?

Profile fixes can change map visibility within weeks, while suburb pages and reviews usually take a few months to build steady results. Anyone who promises a timeline for a specific position is guessing.

Fast wins tend to come from correcting obvious problems: a wrong primary category, a missing service area, an unverified profile, or a website link pointing to a dead page. Those are fixed in the first fortnight. Citation corrections take longer to be picked up because each directory updates on its own schedule.

Suburb pages need to be crawled, indexed and trusted. In a quiet niche, you might see calls from new pages within a couple of months. In a crowded trade in Sydney or Melbourne, expect a longer climb. Reviews accumulate at the pace of your jobs; a business finishing ten jobs a week will build faster than one finishing two.

We report monthly on leads rather than promising positions. If after a reasonable period the calls are not moving, we say so and suggest changes, including whether local SEO is the right spend for you at all.

Local SEO services for one van versus several branches

A single operator needs one strong profile and a well-organised site; a business with several branches needs a profile per staffed location plus location pages that each have their own address, team and reviews.

Google's guidelines allow a service business with different locations, separate service areas and separate staff at each location to have one profile per location. That is the line. A second profile for a relative's garage where no staff work is not a branch, and adding one risks suspension.

For a genuine multi-branch business, say a cleaning company with teams in Newcastle and the Central Coast, each branch gets its own profile, its own landing page with that branch's phone number and service area, and its own review requests. The website links branches from a locations hub so neither page competes with the other.

Franchise networks add another layer: brand rules, shared content, and franchisees who each own a profile. We can support the web and reporting side, though a large franchise roll-out usually needs more hands than three freelance developers, and we would tell you so upfront.

Technical foundations under local SEO: schema, speed and mobile

Local pages need to load quickly on a phone, carry clear structured data, and make calling you a single tap. Technical gaps quietly cap how far the rest of the work can go.

We add LocalBusiness structured data, or a more specific type such as Plumber or Electrician where one exists, with your name, phone, area served and opening hours. Service pages carry Service markup where it fits, and FAQ sections use plain question-and-answer HTML. Search Console is verified so we can see which suburb queries trigger impressions.

Speed matters most on mobile networks, and many service searches happen in a car park or on a job. We check Core Web Vitals on the key pages, compress job photos, and avoid heavy sliders. The phone number sits in the header as a tap-to-call link, the quote form asks only what you need to price the job, and the page loads without waiting for chat widgets.

For a deeper check of crawl and index problems, our technical SEO audit for Australian sites covers redirects, rendering and coverage reports in detail.

It helps, because AI answers about local services draw on the same public signals: business profiles, reviews, directory listings and clearly written website pages. There is no separate switch to flip.

When someone asks an AI assistant for a reliable pool builder near Joondalup, the answer tends to name businesses with consistent listings, a description that states what they do and where, and reviews that mention specific jobs. The same things that feed the map pack feed those answers.

On the website side, we write service and suburb pages that open with a direct, quotable answer: what the service is, where you offer it, what it usually involves and how to book. We use question headings that match what people ask, and keep facts such as licence numbers and service areas identical everywhere. Nobody can promise a mention in an AI answer, but vague pages are far less likely to be cited.

How to choose local SEO services in Australia: questions and red flags

Pick the provider who reports on leads, keeps every account in your name, and describes their review and link methods in plain words. Then check the contract terms before you sign.

Ask these questions in the first call and note how directly they are answered.

  • Who will be the owner of my Business Profile, analytics and website? (Answer should be: you.)
  • How do you get reviews? (Any mention of incentives or filtering is a no.)
  • What exactly will you do each month, and how many pages or listings does that include?
  • What do you report: rankings, or calls and forms by source?
  • What happens if I stop? Do pages or listings disappear with you?
  • Do you build links, and where do they come from?

Red flags include promises of first-page or map-pack results, ownership of your profile held by the provider, bulk directory submissions, and long minimum terms without a clear exit. Nobody can honestly guarantee rankings; Google itself says you cannot pay for a better local position. Our own terms are set out on the terms page and in each written quote.

Working with a local SEO team in India from Australia

You work directly with three freelance developers over WhatsApp, email and video calls in your afternoon, which is our morning in India. There is no Australian office and nobody visits your premises; everything runs through shared documents and your accounts.

On the east coast the gap is four and a half hours in winter and five and a half during daylight saving, while Queensland stays at four and a half all year. Perth is two and a half hours ahead of India, so a Perth business gets most of its working day overlapping ours. A 2 pm call in Sydney lands at 9:30 am in India in winter or 8:30 am during daylight saving, which suits a monthly review.

Quotes are in USD. Australian clients usually pay by Wise from an AUD account, bank wire or PayPal, on the billing schedule set out in the quote you approve. Invoices come from India; questions about GST on imported services are for your accountant.

The first two weeks look like this. Week one: you add us as a manager on your profile and grant Search Console and analytics access, we audit the profile, website and main citations, and send a short list of fixes ranked by likely impact. Week two: we correct the profile, set up tracking, send the review request template for your approval and draft the suburb page plan. By the end of the fortnight you know exactly what month two will contain.

Worked example: local SEO for a pest control business in Western Sydney

This is a hypothetical scenario, not a client story. Say a two-van pest control operator based in Penrith serves Western Sydney and the lower Blue Mountains, gets most jobs from a pay-per-lead app, and has a Business Profile showing the owner's home address.

Month one: hide the address and set service areas covering Penrith, Blacktown, St Marys, Emu Plains, Glenmore Park and the lower Mountains towns within the guideline radius. Change the primary category to the pest control category and list termite inspections, pre-purchase inspections, rodent control and cockroach treatment as services. Clean up the Yellow Pages, True Local and hipages listings, which show two different mobile numbers.

Month two: build a termite inspection page and a regional hub for the lower Blue Mountains, where bushland edges make termite work a genuine local topic, plus suburb pages only for the six suburbs where the owner can describe real jobs. Start the review text to every customer after payment.

Month three onwards: monthly content on seasonal pests, replies to every review, and a lead report matching calls to the job list. The owner then decides whether to reduce spending on the lead app. We would quote this from US$150/mo a month, with the page build as its own line.

Monthly local SEO checklist for Australian service businesses

Whether you do it yourself or hire local SEO services, these tasks keep a service-area business visible. We run through the same list every month and send you the result.

  • Profile: hours, holiday closures, services and photos still accurate
  • Posts: one or two updates on real jobs, offers or seasonal advice
  • Reviews: request sent after every job; every new review answered
  • Citations: spot-check the top listings for drift or duplicates
  • Pages: one suburb or service page improved with fresh local detail
  • Tracking: calls, forms and direction requests compared with booked jobs
  • Search Console: new suburb queries, coverage errors and mobile issues
  • Competitors: note any new categories or services they list

If you would rather hand the list over, monthly local SEO starts from US$150/mo. Businesses that also want the website rebuilt can see our small business website design in Australia page.

When our local SEO services are not the right choice

Some needs are better met by someone else. If you want a person to visit your shop, photograph your team or attend a monthly meeting in your office, a local marketer suits you better. If you run a national franchise with hundreds of profiles, you need a larger team and dedicated software. And if you need legal advice about advertising, reviews or privacy, speak to your own lawyer; we build and run the marketing that supports your obligations.

Where we fit is the owner-operated service business that wants its Google presence set up properly, its leads tracked honestly and its website improved by developers who can also build the pages, forms and automations behind it. For a broader view of our remote work for Australian clients, see the Australia hub.

Across Australia

Local SEO services for service-area businesses around Australia

Everything is handled remotely. These notes describe the local search problems that service businesses in each region are likely to face.

  • Western Sydney

Trades, pest controllers and removalists covering Penrith, Blacktown and Liverpool need suburb pages and profiles that reach across a large, fast-growing region without a shopfront.

  • Northern Beaches, Sydney

Pool, roofing and landscaping businesses here compete in a tight coastal strip, so accurate service areas and job photos from local streets help them stand out.

  • South-East Melbourne

Plumbers, electricians and cleaners serving Dandenong, Berwick and Frankston cover sprawling growth corridors where regional hub pages beat dozens of thin suburb pages.

  • Geelong and the Surf Coast

Builders, cleaners and holiday rental services need profiles and pages that distinguish Geelong suburbs from coastal towns with very different customers and seasons.

  • Brisbane northside

Service businesses in Chermside, Redcliffe and North Lakes rely on the map pack for urgent jobs and gain from a year-round time gap with our hours.

  • Gold Coast

Air conditioning, pest and pool services along the coast face seasonal spikes, so profile updates and review requests timed to summer demand make a difference.

  • Sunshine Coast

Trades and home services from Caloundra to Noosa serve spread-out communities where one well-built regional page often outperforms many near-identical suburb pages.

  • Perth northern suburbs

Businesses covering Joondalup, Wanneroo and Ellenbrook work almost in step with our day, which makes quick calls about new jobs and pages easy.

  • Adelaide

Adelaide trades and mobile services compete in a smaller market where consistent directory listings and genuine reviews can move a profile noticeably.

  • Canberra and Queanbeyan

Service businesses crossing the ACT and NSW border need service areas and pages that make coverage of both sides obvious to customers.

  • Newcastle and the Hunter

Electricians, solar installers and cleaners across the Hunter need regional pages covering Maitland, Cessnock and Lake Macquarie with real local job detail.

  • Hobart

Tradies and home services in Hobart cover hilly suburbs and outlying towns, so clear service areas and fast mobile pages help people call from anywhere.

  • Townsville

Air conditioning, pest control and marine services in North Queensland need profiles that reflect wet-season demand and the areas they genuinely reach.

  • Darwin

Service businesses in Darwin and Palmerston serve a small, competitive market where an accurate profile and prompt review replies carry real weight.

How it works

How our local SEO service starts

  1. Send us your profile and suburbs

Share your Business Profile link, website and the suburbs you actually drive to on WhatsApp. A rough list of recent jobs helps us see where the money comes from.

  2. Get an itemised plan

Within about two working days you receive a monthly plan listing profile work, citations, pages and reporting, each priced separately so you can trim or add.

  3. Grant access in your name

You stay the owner of every account and add us as manager or user on the profile, Search Console, analytics and website. Nothing is created under our names.

  4. Fix the foundations

The first fortnight covers the profile, tracking and the worst citation errors, with a short note after each change so you know what moved and why.

  5. Build pages and reviews

Suburb and service pages go live in batches you check for accuracy, and the review request starts going to every finished job.

  6. Report and adjust monthly

Each month you get calls, forms and booked jobs by source, plus what we plan next. If something is not working, we say so plainly.

Local SEO services in Australia normally cover Google Business Profile management, suburb and service pages on your website, consistent directory listings, a review request process, technical fixes such as schema and mobile speed, and reporting. With BtechWaleTech the monthly work starts from US$150/mo, with each task listed separately in your quote so you know what you are paying for.

How much does local SEO cost per month in Australia?

Prices vary widely between providers because scope, overheads and content volume differ. Our monthly local SEO starts from US$150/mo. The quote rises with the number of suburbs and services, how competitive your trade is, how many listings need cleaning, and whether new pages are needed. Always compare itemised plans rather than headline figures.

How do I rank in the Google map pack as a tradie without a shopfront?

Hide your address and set a service area on your Google Business Profile, choose the right primary category, list every service, add real job photos and collect genuine reviews steadily. Google weighs relevance, distance and prominence. Distance limits how far a hidden-address business can reach in the map, so suburb pages on your site cover the rest.

Should I hide my home address on Google Business Profile?

If customers do not come to you, Google's guidelines say you should hide the address and list service areas instead. It protects your privacy and matches how the business actually works. Your profile can still rank for nearby searches. Keep the service area within roughly two hours of driving from your base, as the guidelines state.

Are suburb pages bad for SEO?

Near-identical suburb pages with only the name swapped can count as doorway pages under Google's spam policies and may hurt more than help. Suburb pages that describe real jobs, property types and local issues in that area are useful and can rank. We only create pages where there is something genuinely specific to say and merge the rest into regional pages.

Which Australian directories should my business be listed on?

Start with Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect and Bing Places, then Yellow Pages, True Local, Facebook and, for trades, hipages and Word of Mouth. Add your industry association's directory if you are a member. Accuracy matters more than volume: the same name, phone and website everywhere beats hundreds of low-quality listings.

Can I offer a discount for Google reviews in Australia?

Google's review policy prohibits offering any incentive, including discounts or free services, in exchange for a review. The ACCC's guidance also says incentives must be disclosed and apply whether a review is positive or negative. The safe approach is to ask every customer the same way, with no reward. Check anything unusual with your own lawyer.

Is it legal to only ask happy customers for a review?

Google's policy prohibits selectively soliciting positive reviews, and the ACCC warns that presenting only favourable reviews can mislead consumers. Sending your review request to every completed job keeps things simple and fair. It also gives you honest feedback, and a thoughtful reply to an unhappy customer can build more trust than a perfect score.

How long does local SEO take to show results?

Fixing a wrong category, missing services or an unverified profile can help within weeks. Citations, suburb pages and reviews build over a few months, faster in quiet niches and slower in crowded Sydney or Melbourne trades. We report calls and forms monthly so you can judge progress by leads rather than by a ranking screenshot.

Can you guarantee my business will appear in the top three on Google Maps?

No, and nobody honestly can. Google states that there is no way to request or pay for a better local ranking, and results change with the searcher's location. What we can do is fix every factor within your control and show you, each month, how many calls and enquiries came from Google.

How do you track calls from local SEO?

We tag the website link on your Business Profile, track click-to-call taps and form submissions on your site, and record the page and suburb each form came from. Google's profile insights show calls and direction requests. If you want per-source call data, a call tracking service can swap website numbers while your main number stays consistent everywhere else.

Is local SEO better than paying for hipages or other lead sites?

They do different jobs. A lead platform can deliver work quickly but you pay per lead and may compete with other businesses for the same job. Local SEO takes longer but the calls come straight to you and do not cost more as volume grows. Many owners run both, then reduce lead spending once organic calls build.

Can a team in India do local SEO for Australian suburbs?

Yes. Local SEO is done through your Business Profile, website, listings and analytics, all of which are managed online. You supply local knowledge such as the suburbs you cover and the jobs you do there; we turn it into pages, listings and tracking. Calls happen in your afternoon, and there are no office visits.

Who owns my Google Business Profile if I hire you?

You do. You stay the primary owner and add us as a manager, so you can remove us at any time. The same applies to your website, Search Console, analytics and call tracking accounts. Nothing is set up under our names, and every report and spreadsheet we create is shared with you.

Do I need a new website for local SEO?

Not always. If your site is reasonably fast, mobile-friendly and lets us add pages, we work with it. If it cannot handle suburb or service pages, or is very slow, rebuilding first saves money. A small site starts from US$150 and a structured site with 299 or more pages from US$300.

What is the difference between local SEO and normal SEO?

Local SEO targets searches with a location in mind, so it relies heavily on your Business Profile, reviews, directory listings and suburb pages. General SEO targets broader searches through content, links and technical health. A service-area business needs both, but local work usually brings calls faster because the searcher is ready to book.

Does local SEO help with AI search results?

It helps because AI answers about local businesses draw on public profiles, reviews, directories and clear website content. Consistent details and pages that answer questions directly give these tools good material. No provider can promise that an AI assistant will mention you, but a well-maintained local presence improves the odds.

Can you manage local SEO for several branches?

Yes, where each branch is a real location with its own staff and service area, which Google's guidelines require for separate profiles. Each gets its own profile, landing page, phone number and review requests, with reporting by branch. Large franchise networks with hundreds of locations need a bigger team than three freelancers, and we would say so.

How do I pay for local SEO services from Australia?

We quote in USD. Australian clients usually pay by Wise from an AUD account, by bank wire or PayPal. The billing period for ongoing monthly work is set in the written quote you approve before anything starts. Invoices come from India, and questions about GST treatment of imported services should go to your accountant.

Is there a lock-in contract for local SEO?

We do not state a standard lock-in term on this page. The scope, billing period and how either side ends the arrangement are set out in your written quote before any work starts. Read our terms page and the refund policy, and ask us on WhatsApp if anything is unclear.

What should I do about a fake negative review?

Reply calmly and factually, then report it through Google's review reporting tools if it breaks their content policy, for example if it is from someone who was never a customer. Do not try to bury it with fake positive reviews. For defamation or legal concerns, talk to your own lawyer; we can help with the Google process.
