Hyderabad's two cities, and what each needs online
Hyderabad's business life is split across the Musi and across the centuries. South of the river, the old city around Charminar is still a trading town: bangles in Laad Bazaar, pearls in Pathergatti, spices and dry fruits in Begum Bazar, and jewellers, perfumers and bakeries whose names are known across the Deccan. Further north, Abids, Koti, Secunderabad and Ameerpet hold the older commercial centres, coaching institutes and wholesale markets.
To the west lies Cyberabad: HITEC City, Madhapur, Gachibowli, Kondapur and the Financial District, where global technology firms, capability centres and thousands of smaller IT companies are based. Northward and eastward are industrial estates at Jeedimetla, Balanagar, Uppal and Cherlapally, and beyond them the pharmaceutical and bulk-drug clusters that have made Hyderabad one of the country's major life-sciences centres.
A Pathergatti pearl merchant, a Bollaram API maker and a Gachibowli SaaS firm need very different websites. We start by understanding who your buyers are and how they decide, then build a site around that, instead of forcing every business into the same template.
How much does a website cost in Hyderabad?
Hyderabad prices run from ₹3,000 website offers on classified sites to agency quotes of a lakh or more for a small business site. The low end usually means a reused template, no search work and hosting controlled by the developer. The high end may include genuine design work, but often also pays for a Madhapur office, sales staff and an account manager between you and the person building your site.
Our starting prices are published. A static website of up to 100 pages starts at ₹10,000 and takes one to two weeks. A 299+ page SEO website starts at ₹20,000 and takes three to five weeks. Online stores start at ₹50,000, custom web applications at ₹60,000, AI and WhatsApp automation at ₹40,000, and ongoing SEO at ₹10,000 a month.
Scope sets the final number. A pharma trader with 300 products needs more work than a physiotherapist with six services. We send an itemised quote, usually within two working days, listing each page and feature, and nothing is billed until you approve it in writing. Details of each tier are on the pricing page.
- Static site, from ₹10,000: up to 100 pages, mobile layout, enquiry form, SEO basics. For clinics, consultants and small shops.
- SEO site, from ₹20,000: 299+ pages covering services and genuine service areas. For firms wanting Google enquiries.
- Online store, from ₹50,000: catalogue, cart, UPI and card checkout. For pearls, bangles, foods and handloom brands.
- Custom web app, from ₹60,000: logins, dashboards, integrations. For pharma suppliers, distributors and startups.
Pharma, bulk drugs and life sciences: Genome Valley to Patancheru
Hyderabad is often called India's pharma capital. Large companies such as Dr. Reddy's, Aurobindo, Hetero, Divi's and Bharat Biotech are based here, Genome Valley near Shamirpet hosts a dense cluster of biotech and research firms, and the industrial areas at Patancheru, Bollaram, Pashamylaram and Jeedimetla hold hundreds of API and intermediate makers. Around them work equipment suppliers, packaging firms, contract research organisations, testing labs and traders.
The buyers these firms serve are technical and careful. A procurement manager or an overseas importer looks for product names, CAS numbers, grades, regulatory filings the company actually holds, plant capabilities and quality systems. Many supplier websites we see offer a scanned brochure or a list of product names with nothing behind them.
We build product databases where each molecule or product has its own searchable page with specifications in text, documentation available on request, and an enquiry form that captures quantity, grade and destination. We never invent approvals, filings or audits, and we leave therapeutic claims out unless your regulatory team has approved the wording. For export-focused units, hosting is set up to load quickly for buyers abroad.
IT firms, GCCs and startups in HITEC City and Gachibowli
HITEC City and the Financial District host the large campuses of global technology companies and a growing number of global capability centres, and they are surrounded by hundreds of smaller IT service firms, product startups and staffing companies. T-Hub in Raidurg, along with incubators at IIIT Hyderabad, ISB and the University of Hyderabad, adds a steady flow of new founders.
Small IT and product companies usually have capable engineers and little time for their own website. What they need is a credible, fast site that wins trust with overseas prospects: service pages that explain specific offerings, case studies with real detail, a careers page that attracts good applicants, and analytics configured correctly from day one. We build these on static frameworks so they score well on Core Web Vitals and cost little to host.
For founders, we build product landing pages that change as the product does, waitlist and demo flows, and MVPs or admin tools when the core team is busy. Code goes into a repository your company owns, and it is documented so your next engineer can take it over without a rewrite.
Pearls, bangles and old city trade around Charminar
The old city has sold to visitors for generations. Pearls from Pathergatti, lacquer bangles from Laad Bazaar, attars, Hyderabadi sweets and bakery biscuits all travel home in suitcases, and many families have customers in the Gulf, the US and the UK who now want to order again from a distance. Begum Bazar, one of the city's largest wholesale markets, supplies shops across Telangana and beyond.
Selling these products online depends on trust. Pearl buyers want to know about grading, whether pearls are natural, cultured or treated, and how they will be packed and shipped. Bangle and jewellery buyers want accurate colour, sizing guides and return terms. We build stores with detailed product photos, honest descriptions, UPI and card checkout through Razorpay, and shipping rules for Indian pin codes and international destinations.
For wholesalers in Begum Bazar and nearby markets, a full shop is often unnecessary. A fast catalogue by category, with pack sizes, MOQ and a WhatsApp button on every product, usually brings more serious enquiries from retailers than a cart would. Where it helps, we add a trade login with customer-specific rates.
Handloom sellers form another group worth mentioning. Pochampally ikat, woven in the villages east of the city, and Gadwal sarees from the south of the state are sold through many Hyderabad shops and weaver cooperatives. Buyers want to know that a saree is genuinely handwoven and where it came from. Pages that name the weave, show the weaver or cluster where you can, and explain care and delivery in plain words sell better than a grid of product photos with a price.
Biryani houses, bakeries, Irani cafés and food brands
Food is one of Hyderabad's best-known exports. Biryani restaurants, Irani cafés, bakeries, sweet shops, pickle makers and caterers range from single outlets in Mehdipatnam to chains across the city. Many depend on delivery aggregators and pay a large commission on every order, even to regulars who would happily order direct.
We build menu sites with current prices and photos, table booking, catering enquiry forms and direct ordering via WhatsApp or a simple UPI checkout for repeat customers. For pickle, sweet and bakery brands shipping across India or abroad, we build stores with shelf-life information, FSSAI details, packaging notes and delivery rules by pin code.
For restaurants, the Google Business Profile often matters more than the website: accurate hours, current menu, real photos and honest reviews decide whether someone nearby walks in. Chains with several branches need a separate page and profile for each outlet, with the right phone number, so customers are not sent across the city.
Hospitals, clinics and medical visitors
Hyderabad has a large private healthcare sector, with multi-speciality hospitals in Banjara Hills, Jubilee Hills, Somajiguda, Secunderabad and Gachibowli, and patients who travel from across Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and further. Neighbourhood clinics, diagnostic centres, dental practices and physiotherapy centres serve every residential area from Kukatpally to LB Nagar.
Clinic websites need three things done well: plain-language treatment pages, trustworthy doctor profiles and easy appointment booking. We add branch timings, directions and WhatsApp booking, and for patients travelling in, information on what to bring and where to stay nearby. Diagnostic labs benefit from test pages with preparation instructions and home collection booking by area.
Healthcare copy needs restraint. We don't publish guaranteed outcomes, unverifiable success rates or claims your doctors are not comfortable with, and we keep pages consistent with medical advertising norms.
Training institutes in Ameerpet, Dilsukhnagar and Kukatpally
Ameerpet is known across south India for software training institutes, where students and working professionals learn programming, testing, cloud and data skills. Dilsukhnagar, Kukatpally and Himayatnagar host coaching for engineering and medical entrances, civil services, banking exams and study-abroad preparation. Competition is intense, and students shortlist several institutes before walking into any.
They compare the same details: course content, trainer experience, batch timings, fees, placement support and reviews from past students. Institutes that answer these clearly online get better enquiries. We build a page for each course with syllabus, duration, fee range and upcoming batches, trainer profiles, and an enquiry flow that reaches a counsellor on WhatsApp within minutes.
For institutes running online batches, we add a student portal with recorded sessions, assignments and tests. We avoid inflated placement claims and keep testimonials real, which also protects you from the complaints that follow when promises are not met.
Local SEO in Hyderabad, in Telugu, Urdu and English
Hyderabad searches come in several languages. Many people search in English, but Telugu queries are common for local services, Hindi and Dakhni-influenced Hinglish are everyday speech across much of the city, and Urdu matters for some old city businesses. A search like “Hyderabad lo website cheyinchadaniki entha kharchu” is as real as its English equivalent, and fewer competitors target it.
Distance is the other big factor. A clinic in Kukatpally rarely shows for searches in Dilsukhnagar, however good its site. Your Google Business Profile, with the right category, services, photos, hours and a steady flow of genuine reviews, drives map results. Your name, address and phone number must match exactly across Justdial, Sulekha, IndiaMART and industry directories, and Hyderabad addresses with house numbers like 8-2-293 need one fixed format everywhere.
On the website, each service gets its own page, area pages exist only where you really operate, and Telugu or Urdu pages are built properly and indexed separately rather than bolted on with a translation widget. Monthly SEO starts at ₹10,000 with a short, plain-language report.
- Google Business Profile setup, categories, photos and review routine
- One consistent address format across Justdial, Sulekha and IndiaMART
- Service pages and genuine area pages
- Telugu, Urdu and Hinglish keywords where your customers use them
- Schema markup, sitemap and monthly Search Console reports
AI agents and automation for Hyderabad businesses
Hyderabad businesses hear a great deal about AI, often from vendors who promise far more than they deliver. We take a practical line: find tasks that are repetitive, clearly defined and easy to check, automate those first, and keep people in charge of judgement calls.
Common projects include a WhatsApp assistant that answers routine questions about menus, fees, stock or appointment slots in Telugu, Hindi, Urdu or English and hands anything unusual to staff; an enquiry pipeline that gathers leads from the website, WhatsApp and IndiaMART into one CRM; document extraction for purchase orders, invoices or certificates of analysis; and internal assistants that answer staff questions from your own SOPs and cite the source document.
Another of us leads our AI and AWS work and builds these with logging, cost controls and clear limits on what the system may do by itself. Projects start at ₹40,000. Payments, medical advice and anything with regulatory or legal weight stay with your team, and we'll tell you if an automation isn't worth the maintenance.
Working with a remote team in Hyderabad
We have no office in Hyderabad, and we won't list a borrowed address to seem local. We are three engineers working remotely across India. Given the drive between Secunderabad and Gachibowli at rush hour, most clients are happy to meet over a call.
We begin with a conversation about your business, then send a written plan with pages, features, timeline and cost. Within the first week or two you get a live preview link to test on your own phone. Feedback can come as messages, screenshots or voice notes, and small changes usually go live the same day. We reply seven days a week on Indian time.
One of us leads full-stack web development. Another of us handles AI, machine learning, AWS and data. The third of us manages projects and works on data science and automation. You can speak to any of us directly.
Ownership, handover and two free months of maintenance
Many older Hyderabad websites are effectively orphaned. The developer registered the domain in his own name, the hosting is on an account nobody can open, and when the renewal lapses the site and sometimes the business email go with it. Getting control back can take weeks.
We avoid this from day one. The domain is registered in your name, hosting sits in your own account, and at launch you receive every login, the source code and a short explanation of how everything connects. You can move to another developer at any time without an exit fee.
Maintenance for the first two months after launch is free: content and price updates, bug fixes, security and dependency updates, backups, uptime monitoring and speed checks. After that, it continues from ₹8,000 a month, or you can contact us only when needed.
What to ask before hiring a Hyderabad web developer
Ask whose name the domain will be in and whether you'll get the hosting login at launch. Open two of their live websites on your phone over mobile data. Ask what a bug fix costs three months later, and whether SEO basics like titles, descriptions, sitemap and Search Console are included or billed separately.
Be sceptical of guaranteed rankings or “first page in two weeks” offers. No one controls Google, and competitive Hyderabad searches take sustained work. For software projects, ask how the code will be documented and whether another developer could maintain it.
Finally, measure how quickly they reply before you have paid. That tells you most of what you need to know. Try us through the contact page.
