A town shaped by coal, power and fertiliser
Very few places in south India are as plainly industrial as Ramagundam. NTPC's station here has 2,600 MW of capacity and feeds several states, and the newer Telangana Super Thermal Power Project was commissioned alongside it in 2023. Singareni Collieries works open-cast and underground mines across its Ramagundam areas. RFCL runs a urea plant on the site of the old FCI unit, and Kesoram makes cement at Basanthnagar.
Godavarikhani, known locally as GDK, grew up as the mining town and is now where most people shop, study and see a doctor. Singareni colonies house the mining workforce, NTPC's township sits at Jyothi Nagar, and the old Ramagundam town around the railway station handles lodging and trade. Both towns fall under the Ramagundam Municipal Corporation.
That mix produces an unusual customer base: salaried PSU families with steady incomes, a large contract workforce paid by agencies, and villages from three or four mandals that come in for markets and hospitals. Before we design anything, we ask which of these groups pays your bills, because the words, language and layout change depending on the answer.
What a website costs here, and where the money goes
Quotes in GDK swing between a couple of thousand rupees for a template and several lakhs from a city agency. Neither number tells you much on its own. The useful question is what you are left holding after launch: the domain, the hosting login, the code, and someone who picks up the phone.
Our figures are starting points that everyone can see. A static site of up to 100 pages is from ₹10,000 and goes live in one to two weeks. A 299+ page SEO build, where every service, route, department or product gets its own page, is from ₹20,000 across three to five weeks. A store with UPI and card payments begins at ₹50,000 and needs four to eight weeks, and custom systems such as trip logs or wage software begin at ₹60,000 over six to twelve weeks.
WhatsApp and AI automation starts at ₹40,000, ongoing SEO at ₹10,000 a month, and upkeep at ₹8,000 a month once the two free months are over. The breakdown for each plan sits on our pricing page, and an itemised estimate for your project reaches you in roughly two working days.
- From ₹10,000: a clinic, tutor, advocate or hardware shop that needs a clear, owned site.
- From ₹20,000: contractors, hospitals and schools with many services to list.
- From ₹50,000: a store that ships sweets, pickles or saris beyond the district.
- From ₹60,000: wage, trip, billing or admission software built around your process.
Contractors and vendors for NTPC, Singareni and RFCL
Every boiler overhaul, conveyor repair, civil job and canteen contract at the plants and mines goes to a vendor, and there are hundreds of them in the twin towns: fabricators, electrical and mechanical firms, crane and equipment hirers, housekeeping and security agencies, safety gear dealers. When a firm tries for work with a new department or a private cement or power client, someone there looks it up online.
What that person wants is evidence. We lay out a vendor site like a tender file: the registrations and licences you hold, work categories, a table of completed orders by year and client type, machinery owned, manpower on roll, safety record and a profile PDF they can forward to their boss. Anything you cannot prove on paper stays off the page, because procurement officers do check.
English carries the formal pages, and a Telugu section speaks to supervisors and job seekers. Shutdown seasons create sudden demand for welders, fitters, riggers and operators, so a simple vacancies page that collects applications on WhatsApp saves days of phone calls when a job order lands.
Tippers, trailers and the coal and fly ash haul
Coal leaves the mines by rail and road, fly ash leaves the power stations for brick makers and cement plants, and urea and cement move out to dealers across Telangana. A good share of that tonnage rides on tippers and trailers owned by local operators, many of whom still track trips in a notebook and chase payments by phone.
The public side of a transporter's website can be one or two pages: fleet list with capacities, the materials you haul, areas covered and a rate enquiry button. The part that earns its cost is private. Drivers or a munshi enter loading point, weight, unloading point and diesel on a phone; the system raises bills per party from those entries and shows who owes what and since when.
Such tools start at ₹60,000. If your accountant lives in Tally, the export matches what he imports. Owners see all vehicles and money, drivers see only their own trips, and it can run in the browser or ship as an Android and iOS app on Google Play and the App Store.
Contract labour agencies and wage records
Much of the work inside the plants and mines is done by contract labour, supplied by agencies that may have several hundred people spread over different sites and three shifts. Wages, statutory deductions and the bill raised on the principal employer all hang on attendance being right, and a wrong muster costs both money and goodwill with workers.
We build a muster tool where each supervisor marks presence by site and shift from a phone, the system works out days and overtime, and the owner gets a morning summary. Workers can check their own days, which cuts arguments on pay day. Month-end wage sheets and client bills come out as files your accountant and labour consultant can use directly.
We are software builders, not compliance advisers, and we say so. The job of the tool is to keep records clean and to hand; the legal filing stays with your consultant. Projects of this kind start at ₹60,000 and follow the way your office already runs rather than forcing a new routine on staff.
Fly ash brick units, cement dealers and building trade
Two large thermal stations produce a great deal of fly ash, and a cluster of brick and block makers, cement and steel dealers and construction suppliers has grown on that and on the cement made nearby. Their buyers are builders, government contractors and families putting up a house in Peddapalli, Mancherial or Karimnagar district.
These buyers ask the same four things: size and strength of the product, price per thousand or per bag, minimum order and delivery distance. A small catalogue site with clear photographs of stacked stock, any test certificates you actually hold, and a quote form that captures quantity and village gets you calls from people ready to order instead of casual enquiries.
For dealers with many brands, a rate list you update from your phone each morning keeps the site honest when steel and cement prices move. We can also add a delivery-order register so the yard knows which truck goes where. Most of these projects start on the ₹10,000 or ₹20,000 plan and grow only if they pay back.
Hospitals, clinics and labs in Godavarikhani
Company hospitals look after PSU employees, but everyone else, from contract workers to farmers in Manthani, Sultanabad and the Mancherial side of the river, comes to private hospitals, nursing homes, dental and eye clinics and labs in GDK. The Singareni Institute of Medical Sciences has added a teaching hospital to the picture since 2022.
A patient's relative on a basic phone wants four answers fast: is the specialist in today, what time is OP, does the hospital take their insurance or scheme, and how to get there from the bus stand. We put those on the opening screen, with a tap-to-call button, a WhatsApp booking request and a map pin placed on the actual gate rather than the street.
Labs get a searchable test list with fasting and sample instructions and a home collection request. Each doctor approves the qualifications shown on their own page. The Telugu is simple and the claims are modest, which is what patients and the medical council both expect.
Schools and coaching for PSU and mining families
Education is where PSU salaries go first. The towns have a Kendriya Vidyalaya, CBSE and state board private schools, junior and degree colleges, a polytechnic and the medical college, plus coaching centres for EAMCET, NEET, JEE, Singareni and police recruitment exams.
Families posted in from Odisha, Bihar or Uttar Pradesh need English pages; local parents often prefer Telugu. We build admission pages that state the board, fee range, bus routes and facilities plainly, an enquiry form feeding a sheet the office follows up from, and a circulars page staff can post to without calling a developer.
Coaching institutes can add a student login with test series, recorded lectures and PDFs that installs on a phone like an app. Results pages carry names and ranks only with consent and only where they can be verified. In a township where parents know each other, one exaggerated topper claim does more damage than a year of modest marketing repairs.
Salary-day shopping, function halls and GDK retail
GDK's main roads carry the coalfield's shopping: textiles and silks, gold, mobiles and electronics, furniture, two-wheeler showrooms, groceries and a long line of tiffin centres and restaurants. The rhythm follows pay dates at the PSUs and bonus announcements at Singareni, and shops that plan offers around them do well.
Most customers find a shop on Google Maps and then phone or walk in, so the website's job is short: what you stock, rough price bands, opening hours, parking and a pin that works. Real photographs of your counter beat stock images, and a WhatsApp button that follows the reader down the page catches the people who will not call.
Function halls, caterers, tent houses, decorators and photographers get booked months before the wedding season. Pages that show halls by capacity, menus by budget and a calendar-style date enquiry let families shortlist you at home in Hyderabad or Bengaluru, and spare your staff from reading out the same rates twenty times a day.
Local SEO in Ramagundam: Telugu searches and twin-town Maps
People here search in three registers: Telugu script, English, and the Tenglish in between, often by voice. “GDK lo scan centre”, “Ramagundam lodge near station”, “8 incline colony tuition” are typical. The town's short name matters too; a page that never mentions GDK misses searches that locals type every day.
Maps does most of the work. The two towns, the NTPC township and the Singareni colonies are spread over several kilometres, and Google tends to show businesses close to the person searching. A Google Business Profile with the correct primary category, a pin on the right building, current hours, real photographs and replies to each review is where we start, before touching the website.
On the site we write one page per service and area pages only where you really have customers, perhaps GDK, Jyothi Nagar, Ramagundam town, Peddapalli or Manthani. Titles, schema, sitemap, speed and Search Console are included, and your Justdial and IndiaMART details are matched. Our SEO service runs from ₹10,000 a month with a plain report and no promise of first place.
- Profile category, pin, hours and photos checked first
- Tenglish and Telugu phrasing written by a person
- Both “Godavarikhani” and “GDK” used naturally
- Directory details matched so Google trusts them
Automating the WhatsApp traffic of a shift town
A shift town keeps odd hours. Workers finishing the second shift message a clinic at midnight, parents ask about fees after dinner, and a contractor's site engineer sends a bill photo from the plant at six in the morning. Whoever holds the phone answers what they can, and the rest scrolls out of sight.
We link your WhatsApp Business number and web forms to one shared list, so each enquiry has a name, number, topic and status. A trained assistant replies to routine questions in Telugu or English using only answers you have approved, sends the brochure, timetable or rate card, books a slot where that is safe, and hands the chat to staff when it needs judgement. Shift and fee reminders can go out on a schedule.
Automation starts at ₹40,000 and usually takes two to four weeks. Price negotiation, medical questions and anything involving money stay with people. If your message volume is too small for automation to pay back, we will tell you and suggest a simpler setup.
How three remote engineers work with a GDK business
There is no BtechWaleTech office in Ramagundam, Godavarikhani or anywhere else, and this page will never show a borrowed address. We are three engineers who work online for clients across India. No rent and no sales staff means the person you message is the person writing your code.
A project begins with a WhatsApp conversation or a call. You then get a written plan of pages, a timeline and an itemised estimate. After approval, a preview link arrives within a week or two; open it on your own phone on mobile data, show it to your partner, and send corrections as text or voice notes. Small fixes often go live the same day. We work on IST and answer all seven days, which suits contractors whose busiest days are plant shutdown weekends.
One of us builds the full stack. Another of us looks after AI, machine learning, AWS and data work. The third of us runs projects and builds automation and data science tools. Any of the three can be reached directly.
When staff transfer out, the website stays with you
Ramagundam is a transfer town. Engineers, teachers and bank staff arrive and leave every few years, and so do the freelancers who build local websites. The business that stays behind then finds its domain renewed in a stranger's name, or not renewed at all.
Our rule is simple. The domain is bought in your name, the hosting account is opened in your name, and at launch you receive every password, the complete source code and a one-page note explaining where everything lives and when it renews. If you later want another developer, you hand them that note; there is no fee and no permission to ask.
The first two months after launch include updates, fixes, security patches, backups and speed checks at no cost. From the third month, upkeep starts at ₹8,000 a month, or you pay only for changes you request. The web development page explains what the build itself includes.
Five questions to ask before paying any developer
First, whose name goes on the domain? Second, will you get the hosting login on launch day? Third, can you see two or three live sites they built, opened on your phone over mobile data rather than office Wi-Fi? Fourth, what does a small change cost after launch? Fifth, are page titles, sitemap and Search Console part of the price or an extra?
Treat “guaranteed first page” and “lifetime hosting” offers with suspicion. Google's rankings are not for sale, and a lifetime deal usually means the seller keeps control of the account.
Note how fast a developer answers before you pay; it rarely improves afterwards. If you already hold a quote from someone else, forward it through our contact page and we will point out what is covered and what is missing, even if you do not hire us.
