A former Scindia summer capital that now runs on farming, trade and tourism
Shivpuri sits in the north-west of Madhya Pradesh on the road between Gwalior and Guna. The Scindias took the town in 1804 and used it as their summer capital, which is why it has marble chhatris, lakes, a planned town centre and old hunting lodges out of proportion to its size. Tatya Tope, one of the leaders of 1857, was hanged here in 1859, and his memorial still draws visitors.
Today the town is the headquarters of a mostly agricultural district. More than four out of five working people in Shivpuri district depend on farming, and the town serves as their market, hospital, school and courthouse. Tehsils such as Karera, Pohri, Kolaras, Badarwas, Pichhore, Narwar and Khaniyadhana all send people into Shivpuri for business that cannot be done at home.
That gives Shivpuri businesses a wide but thinly spread customer base. A family in Narwar or Pohri will make one trip to the town and try to get several things done: a doctor visit, a wedding purchase, a land paper, a phone repair. Before that trip, more and more of them check on a phone which shop, clinic or office is worth the journey. Businesses that show up with correct timings, a working number and a clear address win that visit.
Website prices for Shivpuri businesses, set out plainly
In Shivpuri you will usually be quoted either a very small amount by someone local, often for a template site kept in his own account, or a large amount by a Gwalior or Bhopal agency. Both can leave out things a small business needs, such as a proper map listing, Hindi content or the domain in your own name.
Our starting prices are on the pricing page. A static site of up to 100 pages starts at ₹10,000 and is ready in one to two weeks, with mobile layout, Hindi and English text, map, WhatsApp button and basic search setup. An SEO site with 299+ pages, planned around what people across the district actually search, starts at ₹20,000 and takes three to five weeks. Online stores begin at ₹50,000, custom web applications at ₹60,000, AI and WhatsApp automation at ₹40,000, and monthly SEO at ₹10,000.
The final price follows the scope. A single clinic needs a few pages. A school with admissions, transport routes, notices and a gallery needs more. A safari operator who wants date-wise booking needs a small application. We discuss your needs first and then send a written, itemised quote, and work only begins after your approval.
- ₹10,000 onwards: a short Hindi-first site for a shop, clinic, tutor or small office.
- ₹20,000 onwards: 299+ pages covering each service, crop, product or tehsil you serve.
- ₹50,000 onwards: a store with UPI, cards, courier rules and WhatsApp order alerts.
- ₹60,000 onwards: booking tools, trader registers and dashboards built to your process.
Hotels, safari operators and stays around Madhav Tiger Reserve
Madhav National Park, on the edge of the town, has been a protected area since 1959. Tigers were reintroduced from 2023, and in March 2025 the park was declared India's 58th tiger reserve. Inside and around it are Sakhya Sagar and Madhav Sagar lakes, George Castle and old Scindia hunting grounds, and within the town are the chhatris and Bhadaiya Kund. Visitors now have more reason to stay a night rather than pass through on the highway.
Those visitors plan on their phones. They want to know how far a hotel is from the park gate, what rooms cost, whether meals are included, how safari bookings work and what to see in town. A hotel, resort, homestay or jeep operator with its own site can answer those questions directly and take bookings without paying portal commission.
We build stay and safari sites with honest photos, room types, tariffs you can change yourself, directions from Gwalior and Jhansi, and a WhatsApp booking link. We do not publish claims about tiger sightings, since those depend on luck and forest rules, and we link visitors to the official forest department process for park entry rather than suggesting a shortcut. Operators who want more can have a date-wise availability calendar with advance payment by UPI.
Tourism around Shivpuri is also broader than the park. The marble chhatris of the Scindia rulers, the Tatya Tope memorial, Narwar Fort about 41 km to the north and the lakes around the town can fill a two-day itinerary. Restaurants, taxi owners and guides can each have a short page describing what they offer, how long a visit takes and what it costs to start, so a family driving in from Gwalior or Jhansi can plan the whole weekend before leaving home.
Grain, soybean, groundnut and mustard traders and processors
Shivpuri district grows soybean, maize, urad, groundnut and jowar in the monsoon season and wheat, gram, mustard, barley and lentils in winter. The town's mandi, commission agents, oil mills, dal mills, seed and fertiliser shops and tractor dealers all depend on these two seasons, and business swings sharply between harvests.
Traders here still work mostly from paper books and phone calls. A simple website that lists the commodities you buy and sell, the areas you source from, bag sizes, quality parameters and a named contact helps buyers from Gwalior, Indore or further away find you. For oil mills and packers, product pages with pack sizes, FSSAI details you actually hold and distributor enquiry forms open up new markets.
Where records are the bigger problem, we build small web applications: farmer and supplier ledgers, purchase slips, weighbridge entries, stock by godown and payment due lists. Everything is visible on a phone. These start at ₹60,000 and are shaped around how your munim already works, so staff do not have to relearn their job.
Stone tile suppliers and building material dealers
Stone tiles are available in large quantity in Shivpuri district, and quarrying, cutting and trading of stone slabs and tiles is part of the local economy alongside cement, steel, sanitaryware and hardware dealers who supply the town's growing construction.
Builders, architects and contractors outside the district often search for stone by type, finish and size before calling. A supplier website should show real photos of your stock in daylight, available thicknesses and finishes, typical uses such as flooring, cladding or paving, loading and transport arrangements, and a quote form that asks for quantity and delivery location. We avoid technical claims you cannot back with a test report.
For dealers selling to local customers, a catalogue site with brands stocked, rough price bands you are comfortable sharing and a map listing that shows your yard correctly usually brings more walk-ins than a newspaper advertisement. For trading firms dispatching trucks, a small dispatch and payment register can replace the notebook that only one person understands.
Hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres near the medical college
Rajmata Vijayaraje Scindia Medical College has changed the health map of Shivpuri. Patients who once had to travel to Gwalior now come to Shivpuri from across the district and nearby areas, and private hospitals, nursing homes, pathology labs, imaging centres, pharmacies and specialist clinics have grown around that traffic.
Families searching from a village want plain information: which doctor is available on which day, OPD timings, whether a test or scan is done here, what preparation it needs, whether Ayushman Bharat or other schemes are accepted, and how to reach the clinic. We build doctor and department pages, test lists with instructions, and appointment requests that reach WhatsApp with the patient's details in order.
We write medical content carefully. Nothing goes live without your doctor's approval, we do not promise outcomes and we avoid before-and-after photos that could mislead. Pages are in Hindi first, with English for referring doctors and insurance desks where needed.
Coaching institutes, schools and libraries for aspirants
Shivpuri has a large number of students preparing for MP police, patwari, teacher eligibility, SSC, railway and army recruitment, along with school and college students from the district. Coaching institutes, self-study libraries, hostels and bookshops around the town compete for these students, and most students compare options on their phones.
A coaching website should show courses, syllabus coverage, batch timings, fees, faculty and a simple form that sends the student's name, course and preferred batch to WhatsApp. Libraries benefit from seat availability, timings and monthly plans on one page. Schools need admission windows, classes and board, fee structure, transport routes and a notice section that staff can update.
We avoid invented selection numbers. In a town where students talk to each other, one false claim undoes years of trust. For larger institutes, a web app for attendance, test marks and fee reminders, starting at ₹60,000, lets parents in villages follow progress without visiting.
Madhav Chowk, Court Road and the town's retail trade
Madhav Chowk is Shivpuri's central market, where most residents do their daily and festival shopping, and the older Gandhi market area is full of small shops and vendors. Court Road is more organised and popular with students and office-goers. Together they handle cloth, jewellery, utensils, mobiles, electronics and wedding shopping for the town and the villages around it.
Shoppers increasingly check before visiting, especially for weddings, electronics and furniture. A small catalogue site with categories, brands stocked, price ranges you are happy to share, opening hours, parking information and a WhatsApp button brings customers who have already decided. Jewellers can explain hallmarking and exchange terms. Cloth and saree shops can show collections before the wedding season.
We also connect your website to a correct Google map pin. In a market as dense as Madhav Chowk, customers often reach the wrong lane because of a misplaced pin. Fixing it is simple and it directly brings more people through your door.
Showing up on Google in Shivpuri, in Hindi and Hinglish
Google shows local businesses in two places: the map results, which depend on your Google Business Profile, category, reviews and distance, and the normal results, which depend on your website. In Shivpuri many businesses have no profile at all, or one created by a customer with the wrong name and timings, so early improvements can come quickly.
We create or correct your profile, choose accurate categories, add real photos, hours and service areas, and show you how to request reviews from genuine customers within Google's rules. On the website, each service and area gets its own page, for example Madhav Chowk, Court Road or the station area, with separate pages for Karera, Pohri, Kolaras and Badarwas if you serve them. Our SEO service handles both parts.
People in Shivpuri mostly search in Hindi or Hinglish, such as “Shivpuri me hotel near national park” or “Shivpuri ka best skin doctor”, often by voice. Tourists and outside buyers search in English. We write for whichever audiences matter to you. Monthly SEO starts at ₹10,000, and no honest team can guarantee a top rank, so we do not.
- Google Business Profile creation, correction and map pin fixes
- Hindi and Hinglish pages for local and voice searches
- English pages for tourists and outside buyers
- Matching details on Justdial, IndiaMART and directories
- A monthly report in simple Hindi
WhatsApp automation for Shivpuri clinics, coaching centres and stays
Almost every Shivpuri business already runs on WhatsApp, and the same questions arrive every day: what is the fee, is the doctor sitting today, is a room free on Saturday, what is today's rate for mustard. Owners answer them late at night, and important messages get buried among routine ones.
We set up automation that deals with the routine. Every enquiry is saved to one sheet or dashboard. Common questions on fees, timings, rates or availability are answered instantly in Hindi, and anything unusual goes to the right person with the full chat. Fee reminders, appointment confirmations and booking acknowledgements can go out on their own.
An AI agent can read your fee chart, doctor roster or tariff and answer detailed questions, or draft replies for staff to approve with one tap. Projects start at ₹40,000. We watch how your team handles messages for a few days and automate only the repetitive, low-risk steps. Payments, complaints and medical advice stay with people.
We have no Shivpuri office, and here is how we work instead
We do not have an office in Shivpuri and will not invent one. We are three engineers working remotely for clients across India. Without rent and sales staff to carry, we keep starting prices lower, and you talk directly to the people building your site.
Everything runs on calls, WhatsApp and screen sharing. We start with a conversation about your business, then send a page plan, timeline and itemised quote. For a small site you receive a live preview link within one to two weeks, which you can open on your phone and show to your family or partners. Small changes are usually made the same day, and we reply seven days a week, Indian time.
One of us leads full-stack development. Another of us looks after AI, machine learning, AWS and data work. The third of us manages projects and works on data science and automation. You can contact us and speak to any of them directly.
Your domain, your code, and support after launch
Many Shivpuri businesses have lost a website because the person who made it kept the domain and hosting in his own name and later stopped answering. When the renewal lapsed, the site and the search listing went with it.
We register the domain and hosting in your name from the start. At launch you receive every login, the complete source code and a short written note explaining how things are set up. If you ever want to move to another developer, you hand over the access. There is no exit fee and nothing is locked.
For two months after launch, maintenance costs nothing: text and rate changes, bug fixes, security updates, backups, uptime and speed checks. After that you can continue from ₹8,000 a month or call us only when needed. The web development page shows what every build includes.
