Why a website matters more in Amroha than you might think
Amroha is a mid-sized district town, and a lot of its business still happens face to face: in the bazaars around Darbar-e-Kalan and Bazar Gujri, through commission agents at the mandi, and through long-standing relationships between workshops and traders in bigger cities. Many owners reasonably ask why they need a website when their customers already know where to find them.
The answer is the customers who don't know you yet. A music shop in Pune looking for a dholak supplier, a procurement officer at a Gajraula plant checking a new vendor, or a family in Moradabad searching for a school will all search online first. When they find nothing, or find only a directory listing that sends their enquiry to five competitors, the order goes elsewhere.
The good news is that online competition here is thin. In many categories, only a handful of Amroha businesses have a proper website, and fewer still have one that works on a phone, loads quickly and answers basic questions. A modest, well-made site can stand out in a way that would cost far more in Delhi or Noida.
How much does a website cost in Amroha?
Prices for a basic site in and around Amroha vary from a couple of thousand rupees for a one-page template to ₹30,000 or more from agencies in larger cities. The cheapest versions often have no search setup, sit on hosting the developer controls and are rarely updated. The expensive ones may be well made but include overheads a small business does not need to pay for.
We publish our prices on our pricing page. A static website for a shop, clinic, school or small workshop starts at ₹10,000 and is usually ready in one to two weeks. A 299+ page site built around what people actually search for starts at ₹20,000 and takes three to five weeks. Online stores start at ₹50,000, custom web applications at ₹60,000, WhatsApp and AI automation at ₹40,000, and monthly SEO at ₹10,000 a month.
The final figure depends on scope. A dholak workshop with eight models and good photos needs less work than a supplier listing three hundred parts with no descriptions. You get a quote listing every page and feature, and nothing is billed until you approve it in writing.
- From ₹10,000: up to 100 pages, mobile layout, enquiry form, Google Maps and basic SEO. For shops, clinics, tutors and small workshops.
- From ₹20,000: 299+ pages with separate service or product pages. For firms that want steady enquiries from Google.
- From ₹50,000: online store with catalogue, cart, UPI and card payments. For dholak, handicraft and mango sellers.
- From ₹60,000: custom systems with logins and dashboards. For Gajraula suppliers, contractors and institutions.
Taking Amroha's dholaks to buyers across India and abroad
Amroha's dholak is the district's product under Uttar Pradesh's One District One Product scheme. The shells are carved from mango wood, the skins are stretched and tensioned by hand, and most of the process is still manual, supporting a large number of artisan families. The drums are sold to music shops, wedding and folk performers, devotional groups and collectors across India.
Most of that trade passes through middlemen, and the makers themselves are almost invisible online. A website lets a workshop speak directly to buyers. Each model gets its own page with size, wood, skin type, tuning system, weight and a short video or audio clip of how it sounds. A page about how Amroha dholaks are made, with real photos of your workshop, gives buyers a reason to choose you over an anonymous listing.
For direct sales, we build stores with UPI and card checkout, packaging information, courier options and realistic delivery times. For trade buyers, we add a wholesale enquiry form with minimum quantities and a downloadable price list. Musical instruments are easy to damage in transit, so we help you explain packing and returns clearly, which reduces disputes later.
Vendors and service firms around the Gajraula industrial area
Gajraula, on the highway between Delhi and Moradabad, has grown into one of western Uttar Pradesh's main industrial centres, with more than 1,500 units and large chemical and pharmaceutical plants. Around them work hundreds of smaller businesses: fabricators, electrical contractors, packaging suppliers, transporters, labour contractors, lab equipment dealers and maintenance firms.
When a plant's purchase team evaluates a new vendor, they look the company up. A vendor with a clear website listing services, equipment, past clients (with permission), certifications, GST details and a named contact looks more dependable than one with only a phone number. We build these sites with capability pages, project photos and an enquiry form that accepts drawings or tender documents.
For contractors and transporters juggling many jobs, we also build simple internal tools: job cards, vehicle and trip logs, attendance and billing sheets that replace registers. These start from ₹60,000, are designed around how your team already works, and run on any phone with a browser.
Mango growers, orchards and agricultural traders
Amroha is well known for its mangoes, and orchards across the district produce several popular varieties every summer. Most of the crop is sold through traders and mandis, but a growing number of growers want to sell some of it directly to families in Delhi NCR and other cities, where buyers will pay more for fruit they can trace to a specific orchard.
Selling mangoes online is seasonal and time-sensitive, so the setup needs to be simple. We build a small store that opens for pre-orders before the season, shows which varieties are available each week, and takes UPI payments. Delivery zones can be limited to places your courier can reach while the fruit is still good, and WhatsApp updates keep buyers informed.
Agri-input dealers, cold storage operators and commission agents can also benefit from a basic site with services, rates where appropriate and clear contact details, particularly in Hindi, since most of their customers search that way.
Handloom, woodwork, pottery and other traditional trades
Beyond the dholak, Amroha district has a long history of handloom weaving and cotton cloth, wood handicrafts, carpets and pottery. Many of these trades are carried on by families in small workshops and sold through wholesalers who take a large share of the margin.
A small catalogue website can change that balance. It gives the maker a place to show their range, explain the materials and methods, and take enquiries from boutiques, exporters and individual buyers directly. We send you a short guide on which photos to take with an ordinary phone, such as the front, the back, a close-up of the weave or grain and one shot beside a common object for scale, and then write descriptions that explain size, material and care in plain language. Good daylight photos taken in your own workshop usually sell better than studio pictures, because they show buyers where the product really comes from.
For craft sellers who want to reach overseas buyers, we make sure the site loads quickly from abroad, shows prices clearly, and has an enquiry form rather than an instant checkout, since international orders usually need a conversation about shipping first.
Schools, coaching centres, hospitals and clinics
Amroha, Gajraula and Hasanpur have a growing number of private schools, coaching centres and nursing homes serving families who once had to travel to Moradabad or Meerut for these services. Competition among them is increasing, and parents and patients now compare options online.
For schools, we build sites with admissions information, fee structure, transport routes, facilities, circulars and a gallery. For coaching centres, course pages with batches, fees and results, plus enquiries that go straight to WhatsApp. For clinics and nursing homes, doctor profiles, consultation timings, services, appointment booking and directions, written in Hindi and English.
We keep healthcare and education pages factual. No invented toppers lists, no unverifiable success rates, and no medical claims your doctors would not make themselves. That honesty builds more trust with local families than exaggerated promises.
Local search for Amroha, in Hindi and Hinglish
When someone nearby searches for a business, Google shows a map with three listings and then a list of websites. The map depends on your Google Business Profile, reviews and distance from the searcher. The list depends on your website. In a town like Amroha, many businesses have no profile at all or one with the wrong category and an old phone number, so fixing the basics often produces quick gains.
We help you set up or correct your profile, choose the right category, add real photos and hours, collect genuine reviews and keep your name, address and phone number identical across Justdial, IndiaMART and other directories. On the website, we create a page for each service or product and keep the site fast and mobile-friendly. Our SEO service covers both sides.
Language matters a great deal here. Most local people search in Hindi or Hinglish, with phrases like “Amroha me best school” or “dholak kahan milegi Amroha”, and some in Urdu. Outside buyers searching for your product use English. We write for both, so you are found by the family down the road and the shop owner in Bengaluru. Monthly SEO starts from ₹10,000.
- Google Business Profile setup, category and photo guidance
- Hindi and Hinglish pages for local searches
- English product pages for buyers outside Uttar Pradesh
- Consistent listings on Justdial, IndiaMART and trade portals
- A monthly report in simple language
WhatsApp automation for small Amroha businesses
In Amroha, nearly every business runs on WhatsApp and phone calls. A dholak maker gets enquiries from other states while working in the workshop, a school office gets the same fee questions every day, and a supplier's orders arrive as voice notes. Messages get missed and nobody keeps track of which ones became business.
We set up automation that fixes the repetitive part. Every enquiry from WhatsApp or your website is saved in a Google Sheet, and common questions about price, stock, fees or timings are answered automatically in Hindi or English. Anything unusual is passed to you with the full conversation. Suppliers can have orders collected into a clean list each evening.
Automation starts from ₹40,000. We look at your current routine first and only automate steps that are truly repetitive and low-risk. Payments, disputes and anything important stay with you. If automation does not make sense for your business size, we will tell you plainly.
How we work with Amroha clients from a distance
We have no office in Amroha, and we will not pretend to. We are three engineers working remotely for clients across India. Because we pay no rent and have no sales staff, our prices are lower, and you talk directly to the person building your site.
Everything happens on phone calls and WhatsApp. We start with a conversation about your business, then send a page plan, timeline and itemised quote in writing. Within a week or two you get a live link to your site to check on your own phone and show your family or partners. Changes are requested on WhatsApp and small ones are usually done the same day. We reply seven days a week.
One of us builds the websites and applications. Another of us handles AI, machine learning, AWS and data. The third of us manages projects and works on automation and data science. You can contact any of us directly.
Your website belongs to you
A common problem in smaller towns: someone made the website, registered the domain in their own name, and then became unreachable. The business cannot update a phone number or renew the site, and it eventually disappears.
We register the domain and hosting in your name from the start. You receive every login, the full code and a simple note explaining how everything is set up. You can take the site to any other developer whenever you want, with no exit fee.
For two months after launch, maintenance is free: text and price changes, bug fixes, security updates, backups, uptime checks and speed checks. After that it continues from ₹8,000 a month, or you can simply call us when you need something changed.
What to ask before paying anyone for a website
Ask whose name the domain will be registered in, and insist it is yours. Ask for the hosting login at launch. Ask to see two websites the developer has built, and open them on your own phone. Ask what happens if something stops working three months later, and whether fixing it costs extra.
Be careful of anyone who promises the top position on Google within a few weeks. Nobody controls Google's rankings. Also check that the price includes basic SEO, such as page titles, descriptions, a sitemap and Search Console setup, because these are often skipped in the cheapest offers.
And notice how fast they reply before you pay. After payment, replies rarely get faster.
