New Delhi is not the same market as the rest of Delhi
Most of Delhi's business is wholesale, manufacturing, retail and coaching spread across hundreds of colonies. The area administered by the New Delhi Municipal Council is different. It is compact, roughly 42.7 square kilometres, and holds the ministries, Parliament, most of the foreign missions, the head offices of public sector companies, national non-profits, research institutions, five-star hotels and some of the most expensive retail streets in the country.
The people who read a website from this part of the city are often senior and busy: a joint secretary's staff checking a consultant, a programme officer at a foundation comparing grantees, a diplomat's family choosing a clinic, a tourist looking for a restaurant within walking distance of Rajiv Chowk. They expect accuracy and restraint. Overdesigned pages and inflated claims work against you here.
We build accordingly. Pages are clear and fast, language is measured, facts are checkable, and the structure lets a reader find a document, a person or an address in two clicks. That approach suits a law chamber on a Lutyens' lane as much as a café in Khan Market.
What a website costs in New Delhi when overheads are not in the price
Agency quotes in central New Delhi can run into several lakhs, partly because rents around Connaught Place are among the highest anywhere. Our prices do not carry that load because we have no office to pay for. The work is the same careful work; the overhead simply is not there.
A static website of up to 100 pages starts at ₹10,000 and takes one to two weeks. A 299+ page SEO site suitable for a consultancy with many practice areas or an NGO with several programmes starts at ₹20,000, over three to five weeks. Online stores begin at ₹50,000 and take four to eight weeks. Custom portals for members, grants or vendors start at ₹60,000 and take six to twelve weeks.
Automation projects start at ₹40,000, monthly SEO at ₹10,000, and maintenance at ₹8,000 a month after the first two months, which are free. See the pricing page for detail. We send an itemised estimate in about two working days, suitable for internal approval or a purchase order.
- From ₹10,000: profile site for a chamber, clinic, gallery or boutique.
- From ₹20,000: multi-page site for consultancies, NGOs and hotels.
- From ₹50,000: store for retail, crafts or gifting brands.
- From ₹60,000: member, grant, event or vendor portals.
Consultancies, law chambers and corporate offices around CP
Barakhamba Road and Kasturba Gandhi Marg carry banks, corporate offices and professional firms, and the inner and outer circles of Connaught Place hold many more. For a consulting or legal practice, the website is a credential that a prospective client, a partner firm or an empanelment committee will read before a meeting.
What they look for is specific: practice areas described in plain language, the people with their real experience, the sectors you work in, representative work described within confidentiality limits, and published articles that show how you think. We build practice-area and people pages that can be updated by your office staff, plus an insights section that is easy to publish to.
Law firms need particular care with Bar Council rules on solicitation, so we keep pages informational, avoid testimonials and success claims, and add a disclaimer page if you wish. Consultancies bidding for government or multilateral work benefit from a capability statement page and a downloadable profile, kept consistent with what appears in your tender documents.
NGOs, foundations and think tanks
Central New Delhi, especially around Lodhi Road, the India Habitat Centre and India International Centre, is home to a remarkable number of research institutes, advocacy groups and non-profits. Their websites serve several audiences at once: funders, government counterparts, journalists, researchers and job seekers.
The most useful feature for these organisations is usually a well-organised publication library: reports, briefs and working papers tagged by theme, author, year and geography, each with its own page, summary and citation details so it can be found by search engines and referenced properly. We add event pages with registration, a media section with press contacts and a careers page for fellowships and internships.
Transparency pages matter too. Registration details, governance, annual reports and financial statements should be easy to find for donors doing due diligence. Donation pages can accept UPI and cards through Razorpay with receipts sent automatically. We follow accessibility practice, including readable contrast, keyboard navigation and alt text, since many institutional funders now expect it.
Hotels, restaurants and cafés in Connaught Place and Janpath
Connaught Place, Janpath and the streets around them host hotels of every category, restaurants, bars and cafés that serve office workers by day and visitors in the evening. Much of their custom comes from people standing nearby with a phone, searching “lunch near Rajiv Chowk” or “hotel near Janpath”.
For restaurants we build fast menu pages that Google can read, table reservation requests, private dining and corporate lunch enquiries, and clear directions by block and metro exit, which matter in a circular layout that confuses first-time visitors. For hotels we add room pages, a direct booking enquiry and answers to the questions foreign guests actually ask: airport transfer, check-in rules, and walking distance to landmarks.
Commission paid to booking platforms is a real cost. A good direct site does not replace them, but it gives returning guests and corporate clients a reason to book directly. We keep rates and policies consistent with your platform listings so guests never see a contradiction.
Office catering is a quieter but steady line of business in this area. Ministries, bank branches and consultancies order working lunches, tea for meetings and festive boxes, usually through an administrative officer who needs a GST invoice and a menu in PDF. A simple corporate orders page with minimum quantities, lead times, delivery radius and a request form that emails your manager saves many phone calls. We also add a small events page for restaurants that host book launches, tastings or music evenings, so each event has a link you can share and Google can index before the date.
Boutiques, bookshops and specialty retail in Khan Market
Khan Market began in 1951 as a market for families displaced by Partition, and has become one of the most expensive retail streets in the world. Its brand showrooms, bookstores, delicatessens, lighting shops and cafés serve an affluent crowd of residents from Golf Links, Sujan Singh Park and Lodi Estate, officials, and diplomatic families from Chanakyapuri.
Shoppers like these research carefully and value discretion. A retailer's site should show the actual range with good photographs, note what is in stock, explain delivery within Delhi and beyond, and make it simple to reserve an item or book a private appointment. Gift services, corporate orders and festive hampers deserve their own pages.
For shops that want to sell online, we build stores with Razorpay payments, international shipping options where relevant, and inventory that stays in step with the shop counter. Sellers of handicrafts in the Janpath and Baba Kharak Singh Marg area can use the same approach, adding maker stories and care instructions that justify fair prices.
Businesses that serve the diplomatic community
Chanakyapuri holds most of New Delhi's foreign embassies and high commissions, along with international schools such as the American Embassy School and The British School. Around the missions sits an ecosystem of service providers: relocation firms, interpreters, visa consultants, caterers, clinics, home service agencies, event managers and property agents who lease homes to expatriate families.
These clients search in English, often in other languages too, and they rely heavily on recommendations passed within their communities. A website must make a strong first impression in that exchange: who you serve, what you have done for similar clients, how pricing works, and how quickly you respond. We can add pages in French, German, Spanish or other languages if you have a reliable translator for the text.
Discretion matters. We do not publish client names without written permission, and we design enquiry forms that collect only what you need. For caterers and event firms working with missions, a portfolio organised by event type rather than client works better and respects confidentiality.
Firms that supply ministries and public sector companies
A large part of New Delhi's private economy exists to serve government: consultants, IT vendors, event managers, printers, training firms and suppliers who bid for work from ministries around the Central Vista and public sector head offices near CP. Their websites are read by committees who check eligibility, experience and credibility.
We build sites that support that process: a clear company overview, registrations and empanelments you genuinely hold, completed assignments described by department and scope where disclosure is allowed, team credentials and a downloadable capability document. We keep the language factual, because evaluators notice exaggeration quickly.
Accessibility and bilingual content deserve attention here. Government-facing organisations increasingly expect websites to follow accessibility guidance and to offer Hindi. We build a proper Hindi version rather than a translation widget, use accessible colours and semantic markup, and make downloads clearly labelled with file type and size.
Local SEO in central New Delhi: precise, crowded and competitive
Search in central New Delhi is dominated by very local intent. People search by block and landmark: “café in CP inner circle”, “dentist near Khan Market”, “bookshop in Bengali Market”, “INA Market fish shop”. Many also type in Hinglish, like “CP me achha rooftop restaurant”. A business ranks well on Maps only when its profile is complete and accurate to the exact block.
We begin with the Google Business Profile: correct category, precise pin location, which matters enormously in the CP circles, photographs, hours, and a routine for reviews that you answer personally. On the website we write pages for each service and only reference neighbourhoods you truly serve, such as Connaught Place, Janpath, Khan Market, Lodhi Road or Chanakyapuri.
For NGOs and consultancies, search is less about Maps and more about topics. We organise publications and practice pages so that each can rank for the subject it covers, with schema for articles, events and organisations. Our SEO service starts at ₹10,000 a month, with a monthly report and no guaranteed rankings.
- Exact block and landmark references in Google Business Profiles
- Topic-led structure for research and advisory sites
- Organisation, article and event schema
- English, Hindi and Hinglish pages as your customers search
AI and WhatsApp automation for offices that handle many enquiries
A hotel near Janpath fields the same ten questions every day. An NGO receives internship requests by the hundred. A consultancy gets proposals, invoices and meeting requests scattered across inboxes. A great deal of staff time goes into sorting rather than answering.
We build assistants that classify incoming email, form submissions and WhatsApp messages, answer routine questions from information you approve, and route everything else to the right person with a summary. For research groups, AI tools can tag and summarise new publications for the library. For hotels and restaurants, WhatsApp flows can take reservation requests and send confirmations.
Projects start at ₹40,000 and usually take two to four weeks. We keep sensitive content such as donor data or legal matters under your control, store data on infrastructure you choose, and avoid automations that would speak for you on anything consequential.
Working remotely with a New Delhi office
We have no office in New Delhi, not in CP and not anywhere else, and we will not use a virtual office address to pretend otherwise. We are three engineers working remotely with clients across India, which is why our prices are a fraction of what central Delhi rents would demand.
For offices used to formal processes, we fit in easily: a scoped proposal, a timeline with milestones, an itemised estimate and written approval before work starts. We meet over video, share progress through a live preview link, and accept feedback in whatever form your team prefers. We work on IST and answer on WhatsApp seven days a week.
One of us leads full-stack development. Another of us handles AI, machine learning, AWS and data engineering. The third of us manages projects and builds automation and data science work. Your team speaks directly with the engineers, not through account managers.
Ownership, continuity and audits for institutions
Institutions outlive vendors. We plan for that from day one: the domain is registered to your organisation, hosting is opened in your organisation's account, and at launch you receive all credentials, the source code and documentation that a future developer can follow.
For NGOs and research bodies that face audits or funder reviews, this matters. You can show who owns the site, where data is stored and who has access. We remove our own access when you ask, and we will help with a handover to any other team at no extra charge.
For two months after launch, maintenance is included: content updates, fixes, security patches, backups and uptime checks. After that, it continues from ₹8,000 a month, or on request only. The web development page lists what is covered.
What to ask before signing with a New Delhi web agency
Ask who will own the domain and hosting, and whether you will receive the source code. Ask to see recent sites and test them on a phone, with a screen reader if accessibility matters to you. Ask what a change costs after launch and whether the quote includes content writing, SEO setup and training for your staff.
Be cautious about agencies that promise first-page rankings or charge for “lifetime” anything. Rankings cannot be guaranteed, and long lock-ins often cost more than they save.
If you already have a proposal from another agency, share it through our contact page. We will tell you plainly what it includes, what it leaves out and whether the price is reasonable, even if you decide not to work with us.
