Delhi's business mix, and why one website template doesn't fit it
Delhi is a city of markets first. The lanes around Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar and Khari Baoli supply shops across north India with cloth, spices, dry fruits, toys, stationery and household goods. Specialist markets such as Nehru Place for computers, Kashmere Gate for auto parts and Bhagirath Palace for electricals and medicines each serve their own trade. Around these sit the planned commercial centres of Connaught Place, Karol Bagh, Rajouri Garden and the district centres of west and south Delhi.
Then there are the industrial estates, Okhla, Naraina, Mayapuri, Wazirpur, Bawana and Narela, where small and mid-sized units make everything from auto components and packaging to garments and processed food. Add the hospitals, coaching institutes, embassies, law firms and consultancies that come with being the national capital, and you have one of the most varied customer bases in the country.
A single template cannot serve all of these. A Khari Baoli dry-fruit trader, a Mayapuri fabricator and a Hauz Khas design studio need different pages, different calls to action and different search strategies. We start by understanding who buys from you and how they decide, and build from there.
How much does a website cost in Delhi?
Delhi's pricing spread is wider than most cities. At one end are ₹2,999 offers that come with a stock template, a free subdomain and no search work. At the other are agencies in Connaught Place or south Delhi quoting well over ₹50,000 for five pages, where much of the fee pays for the office and the sales team. Neither end usually explains what you are paying for.
Our starting prices are published. A static website with up to 100 pages begins at ₹10,000 and takes one to two weeks. A 299+ page SEO website, planned around what Delhi customers actually search for, begins at ₹20,000 and takes three to five weeks. Online stores start at ₹50,000, custom web apps at ₹60,000, AI and WhatsApp automation at ₹40,000, and monthly SEO at ₹10,000 a month.
The final figure depends on real scope. A wholesaler with 600 products and no descriptions takes more work than a lawyer with four practice areas. We send an itemised quote, normally within two working days, and nothing is billed until you have approved it in writing. The pricing page lists what each tier includes.
- Static site, from ₹10,000: up to 100 pages, mobile-first, enquiry form, SEO basics. For lawyers, consultants, clinics and small showrooms.
- SEO site, from ₹20,000: 299+ pages covering each service and genuine service area. For firms that want search enquiries.
- Online store, from ₹50,000: catalogue, cart, UPI and card payments. For garment, spice, dry-fruit and gifting brands.
- Custom web app, from ₹60,000: dealer logins, dashboards and integrations. For distributors, manufacturers and institutes.
Wholesalers in Chandni Chowk, Sadar Bazaar and Khari Baoli
Old Delhi's wholesale markets run on relationships built over decades, and many firms still take most orders by phone. But the retailer in Kanpur or Ludhiana who hears about you now checks online first, and so does the new buyer who has only seen your name on a carton. A missing or outdated website makes an established firm look like a newcomer.
For wholesalers, the best website is usually a clear catalogue rather than a full shop. Products are grouped the way your buyers think, such as by category, material or price band, with photos, pack sizes, minimum order quantity and GST details. Every product has a WhatsApp button that sends the item name straight into the chat, so your staff don't need to ask “which one?”.
For firms that deal with the same retailers every month, we add a trade login where approved buyers see their own rates and can place repeat orders. It cuts down the endless price messages and the errors that come from reading orders off voice notes. Spice and dry-fruit traders in Khari Baoli who also sell to households can add a small retail store with UPI checkout alongside the trade catalogue.
Garments, bridal wear and the wedding trade
Delhi is one of the country's largest wedding markets, and a whole economy runs on it. Chandni Chowk and Karol Bagh sell bridal lehengas and sherwanis, Chawri Bazar prints wedding cards, Gandhi Nagar supplies readymade garments to retailers across north India, and Tank Road in Karol Bagh is known for jeans manufacturing. Around them work caterers, decorators, tent houses, photographers, mehendi artists and banquet halls from Chhatarpur farmhouses to Punjabi Bagh.
Wedding customers plan months ahead and browse heavily on phones, often late at night. They compare photos, price ranges and reviews before visiting a shop or calling a vendor. A vendor with a fast gallery, honest starting prices and a quick WhatsApp reply gets the visit; one with a broken Facebook page and no website often doesn't.
We build visual, fast sites for bridal stores and wedding vendors, with collections organised by occasion, a booking form for trial appointments and a gallery of real events. For garment manufacturers and wholesalers, we build B2B catalogues with MOQ, size sets and fabric details, and optionally a store for direct orders. Images are compressed carefully so a 60-photo collection page still loads quickly on mobile data.
Manufacturers in Okhla, Naraina, Wazirpur and Bawana
Delhi's industrial estates are full of small and mid-sized units doing precise, unglamorous work: sheet metal, auto parts, printing and packaging, plastic moulding, garments, electrical components and food processing. Bawana is the largest planned industrial area in the capital, Wazirpur has long been associated with steel, and Okhla and Naraina host a mix of manufacturing, printing and export firms. Mayapuri is well known for automobile parts and vehicle scrap trade.
Most of these units sell to procurement teams, not consumers, and procurement teams want evidence. They look for the machines you run, the materials and tolerances you handle, certifications, capacity and the brands you already supply. A factory photo and a paragraph about quality does not answer those questions.
We build manufacturing websites with a page for each process or product line, specification tables, downloadable catalogues and an RFQ form that accepts drawings and routes them to the right person. Export-oriented units get a site that loads quickly for overseas buyers and reads cleanly in English. Where it helps, we add a supplier portal for dispatch schedules and documents.
Coaching institutes in Mukherjee Nagar, Rajinder Nagar and Laxmi Nagar
Delhi draws students from every state to prepare for civil services, judiciary, banking, SSC, CA and entrance exams. Mukherjee Nagar and Old Rajinder Nagar are best known for civil-services preparation, while Laxmi Nagar and many west Delhi neighbourhoods host commerce, computer and competitive-exam coaching. Competition among institutes is fierce, and students often shortlist several before visiting any.
Students and parents compare the same things every time: faculty, results, batch timings, fees, test series, study material and hostel or PG options nearby. Institutes that answer these clearly online get more walk-ins. Many also run online and hybrid batches, which needs more than a brochure website.
We build course pages with syllabus, batch schedule and fee range, faculty profiles, a results section that Google can index, and enquiry forms that reach a counsellor on WhatsApp within minutes. For online batches, we add a student portal with recorded lectures, test series and progress tracking. We avoid inflated claims about selections and keep results pages verifiable.
Hospitals, clinics and diagnostic labs
Delhi is a medical centre for much of north India. Alongside AIIMS and Safdarjung, there are large private hospitals, specialist clinics and diagnostic chains, and thousands of neighbourhood practices in colonies from Rohini to Greater Kailash. Many patients travel in from Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and further, and they research doctors and costs before booking a trip.
Clinic websites should make three things easy: understanding a treatment, trusting the doctor, and booking an appointment. We write treatment pages in plain language, show doctor qualifications and timings for each branch, and connect bookings to WhatsApp or your practice software. For patients coming from outside Delhi, pages on directions, nearby stays and what to bring help more than any design flourish.
Medical websites need restraint. We don't publish guaranteed outcomes or claims your doctors aren't comfortable making, and we keep copy consistent with medical advertising norms. Diagnostic labs benefit from test pages with preparation instructions and home sample collection booking by pin code.
Local SEO in Delhi: colonies, markets and Hinglish searches
Delhi customers search by colony and market. People type “dentist in Pitampura”, “laptop repair Nehru Place”, “wedding card shop Chawri Bazar” or simply “near me”, and Google weighs distance heavily. A clinic in Dwarka will rarely appear for someone searching in Mayur Vihar, however good its website. So the useful goal is to dominate your area and its neighbours, not the whole city.
Your Google Business Profile does most of the work for map results. We help you choose the right primary category, add services, photos and hours, and set up a simple process for asking customers for reviews. Delhi addresses come in many formats (block, pocket, sector, colony, landmark), so we fix one format and use it on Justdial, IndiaMART, Sulekha and every other listing.
On your website, each service gets its own page, and area pages exist only where you genuinely serve customers. Delhi searches are heavily Hinglish, such as “Delhi me website kaise banwaye” or “sasta website designer Delhi”, and some are in Hindi or Punjabi script. We include the terms your customers use, not only the English ones. Ongoing SEO starts at ₹10,000 a month with a plain-language monthly report.
- Google Business Profile categories, services, photos and review requests
- One fixed address format across Justdial, IndiaMART and Sulekha
- Service pages and genuine colony or market pages
- Hindi, Hinglish and Punjabi search terms where your buyers use them
- Schema markup, sitemap and monthly Search Console reports
AI and WhatsApp automation for Delhi's high-volume businesses
A busy Delhi business can receive hundreds of WhatsApp messages a day, and most of them ask the same few things: rate, stock, delivery time, location, timings. Someone at the counter reads each one, types the same answers, and copies orders into a register or Excel. Messages are missed in the rush, and customers go elsewhere.
We build automations that take the routine part away. Enquiries from WhatsApp and your website are logged in a Google Sheet or CRM and assigned to staff. An AI assistant, trained on your price list and policies, answers common questions in Hindi or English and passes anything unusual to a person. Distributors get order messages converted into structured orders and a morning summary. Institutes get fee reminders and batch notices sent automatically. Clinics get appointment confirmations and reminders.
Projects start from ₹40,000. We map your current process first and automate only what is repetitive and low-risk. Payments, refunds, medical questions and anything with legal weight stay with your team. If an automation would cost more to maintain than the time it saves, we will tell you so.
Working with us remotely from anywhere in Delhi
We have no office in Delhi, and we won't publish a borrowed address to pretend otherwise. We are three engineers working remotely across India. In a city where getting from Rohini to Saket can take most of a morning, a video call or a WhatsApp voice note is often the faster meeting.
The routine is simple. We discuss your business, then send a written page plan, timeline and cost. Within the first week or two you receive a live preview link to check on your own phone. Feedback comes as messages or screenshots, and small changes usually go live the same day. We reply seven days a week on Indian time, so you can review your site on a Sunday when the market is shut.
One of us leads full-stack web development. Another of us handles AI, machine learning, AWS and data. The third of us manages projects and works on data science and automation. You always know who is doing what, and can speak to any of us directly.
Your logins, your domain, and two months of free upkeep
We regularly meet Delhi business owners who cannot edit their own website. The developer who built it has changed numbers, the domain is in his name, and the hosting renews on an account nobody can open. When the renewal fails, the site goes down, and sometimes email goes with it.
We set things up so that never happens. The domain is registered in your name, hosting sits in your account, and at launch you receive every password, the source code and a short document explaining how it all fits together. You are free to take the site to another developer whenever you like, with no exit fee.
For two months after launch, maintenance is free: content and price changes, bug fixes, security and dependency updates, backups, uptime monitoring and speed checks. After that, it costs from ₹8,000 a month, or you can message us only when something needs changing.
Avoiding the common traps when hiring a Delhi web designer
A few questions filter out most problems. Whose name will the domain be in? Will you get the hosting login? Can you open two of their live sites on your phone, on mobile data, and see them load quickly? What happens, and what does it cost, if something breaks three months after launch? Is basic SEO included, or quoted separately later?
Treat ranking guarantees with suspicion. Offers of “first page in 15 days” are common in Delhi, and no honest provider can make them, because nobody controls Google. Look instead for someone who explains the work they will do and what a realistic timeline looks like for your area and trade.
Finally, notice how quickly they respond before you have paid. That is the best preview of how they will behave afterwards. You can test us on the contact page.
